As a practicing attorney since 2000, my experiences have given me the opportunity to create a law firm that handles your legal needs with care and efficiency. Approaching an attorney for any reason may be an uncomfortable experience, however, your concerns are my concerns. As a parent with young children, I understand how precious your time is and how hectic your schedules can be. I also understand how important your specific legal matter is to you. That’s why I have created a family-friendly office, with evening and weekend appointments available. My goal is to aid my clients in a professional and friendly manner and assist you in resolving whatever legal problem you may have. The office is conveniently located in Babylon Village. I graduated SUNY Albany in 1996 with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Business. While at SUNY Albany, I decided to pursue a career in law. In the fall of 1996, I enrolled at Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. While completing my course studies at Touro I was an active member of the Student Bar Association and Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity. While at Touro, I had the opportunity to spend a semester as a law student intern in the Family Law Clinic, which allowed students to represent clients in a supervised atmosphere in Suffolk County Family Court, aiding them in the various stages of family offense proceedings. After graduating from Touro, I went to work for a mid-sized general practice firm, until 2000, when I opened up a practice of my own. The focus of my firm was to provide quality legal advice in the areas of real estate and family law while remaining personally committed to my clients. During this time I was the primary closing agent for a national lender, focusing on the area of residential mortgages. In addition, I am an approved bank attorney for numerous lenders, having closed hundreds of loans over the past ten years, including residential purchases, sales and refinances. I continued to focus on real estate and family law while raising two small children and, in 2008, relocated my firm to Babylon, NY. The firm has expanded to include wills, administration proceedings and foreclosure work. I am also a member of the Suffolk County Family Court 18(b) panel, where I represent court-appointed litigants in the various matters of custody, visitation, family offenses, paternity, child support and guardianship matters. I am a member of the NYSBA and the Suffolk County Bar Association. I am active in my community and am on the Board of Directors for PAWS as Legal Counsel for the upcoming 2009-2010 school year and am Legal Counsel to the West Islip Summit Coalition. I am also on the executive committee of my local PTA and am a member of SEPTA.
