Probating or preparing a Will can be a very difficult or sad time. Often clients put off preparing this document so as to avoid the matter entirely. However, it is important that you make sure that your assets and children are protected and go where you want them to, when the time comes. While preparing your Will I personally take the time to go through and explain all of the options for bequests, guardianship for minors, powers of attorney, if necessary and health care proxys. While probating your Will I will work diligently to ensure that all the paperwork is properly filed with the Surrogates Court so distribution of inheritance is completed quickly and smoothly. My firm is conveniently located in Babylon Village and is a family friendly office; evening and Saturday hours are available by appointment.
